I know this has kind of been done before, and I wanted to go somewhere a bit different but it just didn’t go that way in the end. However, I’m happy with it!

I’m just glad to be shooting again.

Here is Your Queen on Flickr.Via Flickr: This photo was entirely inspired by Brad’s Photo (which is way better than mine lol) that he posted today, and also the song that inspired his version. At first I was just inspired by the song.. but while I was walking to the location, I had this idea. I thought it would be kinda funny if I “brought him his queen” since he named the photo “Bring Me My Queen” after the song by Abigail Washburn. hahaha….. oh, I’m not that funny…. But nevertheless, Brad inspired me and I went and shot a photo today which made me feel good since I’ve been wanting to shoot for days and lacked ideas and inspiration. Soooo. Thanks Brad! This photo was entirely inspired by Brad’s Photo (which is way better than mine lol) that he posted today, and also the song that inspired his version.

At first I was just inspired by the song.. but while I was walking to the location, I had this idea. I thought it would be kinda funny if I “brought him his queen” since he named the photo “Bring Me My Queen” after the song by Abigail Washburn. hahaha….. oh, I’m not that funny….

But nevertheless, Brad inspired me and I went and shot a photo today which made me feel good since I’ve been wanting to shoot for days and lacked ideas and inspiration. Soooo. Thanks Brad! (:

The Last One You Loved on Flickr.Via Flickr: So me and Lori went one our favourite spots we’ve ever been (which we had only visited once before today) and we were so excited to finally get to go back after almost a year! and then we got there….. it was kind of a disaster, me and Lori just could not figure out what we wanted to do. We had no ideas, it was cold, the sun was about 2 hours from being gone completely, it was really windy and we both had to pee. Really bad. So, I shot this hoping to get at least one photo out of it, because I was determined not to make this a wasted trip. Although this image didn’t turn out how I would’ve like it to, it’s they best I could do with the conditions. (: also.. The Last One You Loved on Flickr.

So me and Lori went one our favourite spots we’ve ever been (which we had only visited once before today) and we were so excited to finally get to go back after almost a year! and then we got there…..

it was kind of a disaster, me and Lori just could not figure out what we wanted to do. We had no ideas, it was cold, the sun was about 2 hours from being gone completely, it was really windy and we both had to pee. Really bad. So, I shot this hoping to get at least one photo out of it, because I was determined not to make this a wasted trip. I would’ve made this better if my stupid flash didn’t crap out on me YET AGAIN. about 10 photos and the fuse blew. This is the third time the fuse has been blown. and I assure you sales-guy, I’m not taking this thing with me next time I go to visit you, and I’m leaving with something better or our money back. I’m just so angry. It completely ruined this shoot/photo and my entire night. What a waste.

Shark Collector I finally have something to upload. I’ve had this idea for-ever.… well not specifically this idea but the idea of having sharks in this bowl. The original idea was going to be against a black backdrop.. and then the second version of the idea was the other photo that I took (that I still have yet to edit) and then this one came right after I shot version 2. ________________ I also don’t know why I decided to do anything involving sharks.. I’m terrified of sharks.. even the first page of the google image search for “Sharks” scares me. no joke. I don’t know why I’m so terrified by sharks.. I don’t have a horrible childhood memory of them or anything. I’ve never even seen one in real life.. but, I guess it’s probably their teeth, their carnivorous diet and the fact that they are huge. I felt uninspired today but.. I remembered that I had this idea a few days ago and I put it into action. so.. I ended up with something after all.

As She Fell I love the brown tones in this one. I’m glad I chose these colours, they worked out better than I expected. At first, I wasn’t going to flip this.. but I tried it and I kinda liked how it felt like the world was being held upside down and I liked how it looked like she was falling. Also, this photo plus the water one i did made me think of the elements like water and now ground/earth. so I’m thinking about maybe starting an elements set. Maybe. We’ll see.
